Cz 455 22Lr Accuracy Test4/20/2021
Recently the weather finally broke and got a few hours at the range. After sighting in, I started breaking in the barrel with Eley Standard Velocity ammo.Im wondering what this rifle will do once the barrel gets broke in and shooting Match Grade ammo.I just purchased a 457 Varmint in 17HMR, got it out once to get it on paper at 35 yards, and ran out of time.
![]() If one is familiar with CZs (452455), the 457 has some good changes. My Varmint came pillar bedded, they have a forward to fire safety, 60 bolt throw to clear more scopes and I appreciate the nitride finish on the metal for a field rifle. Those MTRs like you have, have a match chamber, I will be curious to see what type of accuracy you get with it once it settles in. I mounted a Weaver Classic V-Series 4-16X 42 AO scope with fine crosshair and target dot recital with Warne scope rings. Nice rifle, with those groups with non match ammo shows potential of being a one hole shooter I have a 455 varmint precision trainer, literally shot one hole at 50y with wolf match 22lr. To get my groups, I installed an after market trigger.and installed a bubble level to try out, surprised it works for me.
